Description

The signal at this intersection appears to have been set recently to be very long for across Whitney near the time for Worthington-Hooker school arrival and departure. With the settings as they currently are, however, rush hour traffic on Whitney often and needlessly backs up beyond the East Rock intersection when there is almost no traffic out of the school or from Huntington. This is perhaps particularly a problem at approximately 8am. Please review the traffic flow and signal timings.
