Description

Monroe Street, from the junction with the North bound of the Parkway to the junction with Governors Drive needs a defined and serious maintenance. The asphalt is continuously coming up and patching is not a right solution. Also, the East shoulder is in deplorable condition (partially exposed ditch) housing rodents and garbage. There is no definition of purpose having partially uncovered drainage lines. Therefore it is requested that the City of Huntsville take a serious consideration to permanently fix these issues along this street that are way overdue. It is recommended to: install rain drainage under ground and cover with top soil and grass the entire East shoulder of this entire street; properly repave the entire Monroe Street from the junction with the Parkway to the junction with Governors Drive. Thanks for your attention and consideration.
