Description

As I walked by the construction site this morning (at 1201 k St NW), there were construction workers outside wearing asbestos-rated respirators, and they were dumping bulk construction waste (mostly wallboard, it seemed) into open air dumpsters. One worker was jumping up and down in the dumpster, which was creating further dust. I'm concerned that the workers needed to wear the advanced respirators for airborne contaminants, and then they are carrying the material out to the street unbagged and creating further dust in a public place.
