I am so happy to report that the wonderful people over at animal control did make it out to the area (on a holiday) yesterday after I lost her to track down this gorgeous doggie. I was worried sick she'd be freezing and abused and starving as the nights grew colder, so when I called the shelter today to hear they'd tracked her down and coaxed her in, I was so relieved. She's safe and sound and if an owner is not found (I'd bet a million $$ that she's either stray or was cruelly thrown out by a scumbag owner), she'll need a new happy forever home!
