I work as a facility supervisor for the Greater Portland YMCA. It was on YMCA property and members had complained so I placed it in a cardboard box and put it behind our dumpster in the High Street parking lot.

Why didnt you put it in the dumpster?

Sandy: On the random, off hand chance that the owner would see this and want to claim the remains. I have no idea what people do with pet remains but nothing surprises me these days. If it gets very warm today the box will definitely go in the dumpster though.
