Description

In the morning between 7:00am-7:45am a crossing guard is manning the intersection to walk aid and guide students to cross the street. Drivers are driving through the intersection as the crossing guard has traffic stopped to guide the student to the other side of the street. Drivers are also blowing through the stop sign, failing to stop and treating the 4 way stop like a green light intersection.
An officer should be sent to watch traffic and issue citations for failures to stop and failing to allow pedestrians to cross safely while in the cross walk.
Cars blow through the intersection at various hours of the day, especially morning hours before school and in the evening hours 5pm-6:30pm.
