This is a disgusting, ongoing problem, particularly the overflowing garbage from the food service businesses. There is regularly garbage overflowing from the row of cans, piled on top of, and spilling into the alley. Either better trash facilities need to to be provided to the businesses by the cities or penalties need to be more strictly enforced for public health and safety violations. We cannot hope to have a fighting chance against vermin infestation in our neighborhoods if chronic offenders are not hel accountable for their contributory activities. It is truly disgusting!
