This has been a problem for years. I recently brought it to the attention of Alderwoman Constantiople,(203 868-8051) particularly about how the trees block what little sidewalk is left, causing people to have to walk into the street. She went to look at it and agrees something needs to be done. Whether the city sends anyone to fix it is another story.
