there are dogs constantly barking in this building all day every day. it's a nuisance to the community. please ask the owner to do something about the tenants.
Sorry to hear. We have this problem too in the building we live in and can't get it resolved. Try calling animal control personally. If the animal is being neglected (which may explain the noise) they may be more inclined to investigate. The online response form requires an exact address. It may be risky but asking residents there if they know who's dog it is may work. They're probably sick of it, too.
This is a horrible apartment building. The people that live there are constantly screaming at each other and barking dogs are a nuisance to the community and the owner refuses to do anything about it.
the dog is usually barking nervously inside the house. i never see the dog outside. all the screaming is always coming from in-doors. the family (kids mostly) communicate through screaming at each other and the dog just barks continuously. the parents don't do anything to keep the noise down. either they're not home or they're just oblivious to the racket that they're making.
If you're next door to this building, try talking to other in your building and see if they would be willing to sign a joint letter to Animal Control regarding the barking issue; explain what's going on and maybe the building owner can be notified of a nuisance issue. Same with general noise problems; if a bunch of people say something to OPD, they may be willing to look into it. I believe every neighborhood has a community officer (someone else on here has mentioned that), try contacting them first for advice. No one should have to put up with overly obnoxious behavior.
Noise is still going strong. had to put earplugs in last night. who knows what the deal is with this place but i'm guessing with rents starting to skyrocket around the lake, less people paying top dollar to live in Oaktown will be willing to put up with the screaming / barking / yelling neighbors.
two nights ago an irate neighbor started a yell off at 10:30PM with the owners of the dogs. There are multiple now and they all bark and cry constantly day and night.
