The lights in the middle of the basketball court are always on. They are in the middle of the court located on the north side of the playground bordering Morris st. These lights also are not directed just onto the playground but also shine directly on the houses on the 1400 block of Castle Ave and the 1400 block of Morris St. Could the lights please be turned off outside of park hours and tilted downward more so that they only shine onto the playground?
Best would be if the courts were removed and replaced with grass or play ground equipment.

Hello,
I wanted you guys to know that the lights in the high voltage lights are on 24 hours a day for the last 2 months. It seemed to have moved with the high winds and now shines directly into homes around it.

It seems the dusk to dawn sensor is broken for the 3rd time this year. Please make note of this issue and be GREEN. Wanted to know if the basketball court hours have times that are enforced. People have been playing ball way past 1am during work hours and the noise from the bouncing ball and random yelling on the court is very loud. There is a gate but it’s never used other than to keep the ball in the court. Years ago it used to be locked up at night, but now it’s just open and lit 24 hours a day. Every other playground in the city get’s locked up at night, but we all suffer from lack of sleep now. With an attendant in the playground now, there is no reason this should happen.
