Description

People are hanging out at this lot at all times of the day and night. They come and go. They also drink, do drugs, solicit prostitution, play loud music at all times of the night, start fires, and cause a disturbance for all homeowners in the area. I'm concerned that these individuals may possess firearms and may end up using the vacant lot for more than just a party location. Safety is a huge concern and they recently dropped off a bunch of wooden pallets that I believe they will set ablaze at night. The police won't take the necessary actions to help prevent or resolve the fact that this lot isn't a park of sorts. The actions of the police when they respond to our calls just isn't enough action because they just come and go as if it's okay for these individuals to hang out at a lot that isn't theirs to begin with. If the city could please come to the lot addressed and provide some solutions or assistance to make the lot non-accessible then it may prevent these individuals from thinking that they can just come and do whatever they want at these open lots.
