This property has been neglected for a long time . The house was vacant and the new owner has made no attempt to clean it up in at least a year. A lock was placed on the front gate so the owner is aware of the problem.Sorry but it is an eyesore. on our street .

There are plenty of worse "eyesores" on Perkins in my opinion. The food stand in the back yard at the corner of perkins/pine, the house across the street from that was covered in plywood last time I was down that way. Not to mention the strong school playground filled with garbage, glass and people constantly urinating where children play (i have witnessed this in broad daylight). The giant ditch across from said park where used condoms and litter are often found... I agree that trimmed hedges would be nice, but there seem to be bigger problems.

There are no eyesores on my street so I don't know what you are talking about. The house has a front gate with a lock on it. The weeds and whatever is overgrown is spilling out on the walkway when u walk u have to go around it. A food cart is not an eyesore and the house across the street is not boarded up. It needs to be taken care of. Strong school has been cleaned recently I think and it's not as bad as it was before. The problem is that it is an eyesore on the street and the only one. Do u live around here

I sure do... it sounds like you have more of a vendetta against plants and neighbors than "eyesores". You don't think a ragged food cart and an old couch in someone's back yard is an eyesore, well then I have to tell you to take a second look. Best of luck with your "issue".

Because when u live in a house u should take care of it and not have the front of the house overgrown and trash along the whole front yard and make it look like an eyesore. The food cart is their they use for business and their own cooking too so how is that an eyesore

The reasons that could be for having an "overgrown" front lawn are far more underable. For example: maybe its an elderly person who cant move around as much, maybe the house is being renovated... On the other hand you don't see a rusty old food cart in someone's back yard, completely visible from the street as an issue. You need to get your priorities together. There's trash everywhere yet you're worried about this. Go trim the front of the house if you are so concerned. Personally when i drive down lovely Perkins street what catches my eye is the dirty lot with the food cart and the old couch in someones backyard, bit you must be too classy to notice why that would look bad in the neighborhood. This is a residential neighborhood, not a street corner in the bronx where people display their trash... Even if it is used for "cooking"

OK first of all they are not elderly he is a young man and I am not high class. The house is not being renovated and they trimmed some but not all of it so I don't know what your problem is but I see it as an eyesore when people can't take care of their own property
