For many years, a section of concrete sidewalk next to a large oak tree has been raised up a couple of inches. Not only is it a tripping hazard, but because it is on a slope, it constantly collects a large puddle of water after rainfall, and very hazardous ice in winter.
Simple repair would be to grind down the high edge to make it level.
