Description

The elevator labeled #1 in 1001 north 2nd street (Erbe building, owned and managed by Tower Development) :

The fifth floor has been missing the call button on elevator listed as #1 now for over two months with no notice to tenants as to when it will be replaced, if ever.

As there is no call button on the fifth floor for the working elevator, tenants are unable to use either elevator during breakdowns. This causes causes massive inconveniences to all fifth floor tenants and guests, especially anyone with a physical handicap, regardless of whatever tasks they are doing that day.

This violates Philadelphia Property Maintenance Code
SECTION PM-606.0 ELEVATORS

PM-606.1 Availability: In buildings equipped with passenger elevators, at least one elevator shall be maintained in operation at all times when the building is occupied.
