Cal Trans Issue, #612248, submitted on Jan. 10, 2016, declared "Closed" (3/16/2016). This is definitely NOT CLOSED: Nothing has been done. 880south, off ramp at 29th Avenue/Fruitvale. Major Safety Issue: Massive Overgrowth of shrubs, grass, trees obscures visibility. Garbage caught/snagged in debris and overgrowth caused swerving, back up of water run off and puddling. C'mon Caltrans, are you waiting for a vehicle pile up because you don't want to do your taxpayer-paid job? Clean it up, cut back the overgrowth. Replace the graffiti'd signs. Be accountable. Just because it's in Oakland doesn't mean you can avoid all the eyesores you don't bother acknowledging. Again, this MSR Ticket #612248 Has Not Been Completed, nor should it be closed. Open it up and do the job.
