There is traffic every day in all the city's around the area. It's called people coming home from work. Just don't drive and you won't have the problem !!

If I leave anytime from 5 pm - 7 pm - it takes me at least 25 minutes to get from 125 cambridge park drive to the light at alewife brook parkway. The cop, when there, does nothing. This is a serious problem.

While I aged that the cop does nothing, it's not reasonable do you to expect there not to be traffic in a dense area. Your office is steps from public transit, so there's your solution.

A public transit system that is old, often broken, and doesn't get people from point A to point B in a reasonable amount of time is not a solution. Not to mention all those employees on CPD who come from outside the city where public transit isn't an option. Unless you have sat on CPD between 430 - 7pm on a weeknight to get home to your family you really can't understand what we are going through eac day just to put food on the table.

here is a public hearing with the City of Cambridge at Alewife Station tomorrow evening from 4:00 - 7:00pm ET. Many of the tenants of 150 CPD will be meeting in the lobby and walking over together at 3:45pm to voice our growing frustrations and concerns; I welcome you to join us.

As Lindsay mentioned above, tomorrow evening, Wednesday, April 6th, between 4PM and 7PM the Envision Cambridge Street Team will be at Alewife Station with their Mobile Engagement Station. However, we are also scheduling an opportunity for a conversation specifically about the transportation concerns that have been detailed in this and other threads. We are still determining the date and venue, and will make that information available as soon as possible.

The City of Cambridge will hold a public meeting to discuss traffic concerns related to Cambridge Park Drive on Tuesday, May 3rd at 8:30 AM at The Cafe at 200 Cambridge Park Drive.
City staff from Traffic, Parking, and Transportation, Community Development, Public Works, and the Police Department will be present, as well as representatives from MassDOT, MBTA, and the Department of Conservation and Recreation.
