Staff will begin a left turn study for this location. The study can take about 45 working days to complete. Since this is a State maintained street, North Carolina Department of Transportation will approve the final plan. Staff will post the results once study in complete. Staff has recently studied this location for NC Department of Transportation for a protected movement. This location does not meet the volume threshold and delay warrants for the addition of a protected movement at this time. Staff shall continue to monitor to see if adjustments can be made.
