Thank you for getting in touch. We will send someone out to look for a suitable location for new bike racks near 35 Brattle Square within the next few weeks.
Please note that sites for bike racks can be limited on narrow sidewalks due to the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirement that a sufficient walkway be left open for people with disabilities.
We will let you know of our findings here, and send a letter to the abutting property owners when we are preparing to install any racks. If we find a suitable location for bike racks they should be installed next Fall.

Locations for 6 additional bike racks (parks 12 bikes) have been identified and are marked on the sidewalk with white dots.
Four are an extension of the existing set of racks in front of the GAP and two are an extension of the existing set of racks in front of Citibank.
These racks will be installed within 6-12 months. If you wish to inquire further, please email bikerack@cambridgema.gov.
