The tree has been removed, along with all of the volunteer trees and shrubs along the freeway berm. Thanks for that..the roots from that growth would eventually cause problems with the structure of the wall itself.
There is still a question of access to the pedestrian overpass by someone in a wheelchair. The access ramp is installed 6 to 8 feet from the overpass and requires the user to proceed along a sidewalk section so narrow that a wheelchair could not possibly make the maneuver. Get someone over there with a wheelchair, and check it out.
