This is a huge issue on Cambridgepark Drive from 4:30 - 7:00pm in the evening. Something must be done to ensure the safety of not only pedestrians, but other drivers as well as the traffic is causing people to act in a reckless manner that is going to get someone killed.

The pavement markings on Cambridge Park Drive are slated to be redone during the upcoming pavement marking season. This should address the issues of concern.

This is not an issue of people not knowing whether or not they CAN drive on the opposite side of the road, rather it's an issue with people getting frustrated and not moving in the traffic lines. Lining the street won't work.

Not sure if lines will help prevent people from driving on the wrong side of the road, seems like something they should know not to do with or without lines.

Yes...it's people who get frustrated sitting in the traffic heading to Alewife Brook Parkway. They then go around everyone on the wrong side of the road so they can turn left at the light just before Alewife. I've seen people do this not just for a short distance but from a good 1/4 mile back from there. They are driving way too fast because they know they are doing something they shouldn't be.

Someone was already hit by a car that was driving on the wrong side of the road. What else do you need to get this issue taken care of?!

The City of Cambridge will hold a public meeting to discuss traffic concerns related to Cambridge Park Drive on Tuesday, May 3rd at 8:30 AM at The Cafe at 200 Cambridge Park Drive.

City staff from Traffic, Parking, and Transportation, Community Development, Public Works, and the Police Department will be present, as well as representatives from MassDOT, MBTA, and the Department of Conservation and Recreation.

The city should consider a public meeting later in the day so the staff can actually experience the traffic at 5:30 pm.
