Description

Since the recent snow storms the city has faced this year, the back alley way shared between the 900 block of Catherine Street and Clay Street has suffered tremendous damage creating huge potholes, some that stretch longer than an average sized car, down the entire alley. Most vehicles along the alley way are sedans or economy vehicles. The potholes continue to create a problem from car owners like these, such as myself, because in many different areas the depth of the pothole will cause scrapping underneath the bed of the vehicle. Personally, my vehicle has suffered alignment issues from constant friction between the gravel and the axels of my car. It has even become impossible to avoid the potholes. I would like to suggest a remodel for our alleyway as most alleys in the surrounding area have been paved with cement in order to reduce this risk. There have also been multiple reports from our neighbors and friends who drive down the alley with the same issues and experiences.
