I agree but if someone (child,adult) are caught not crossing at the crosswalk then THEY should be ticketed! People expect the driver to stop where ever they WANT to cross! They should walk inside the lines.

Obviously only active crossing motorists would stop. Not the "hey I'm going to step on the street and I have the right away" kind of stop. Oddly enough a child was struck about a week ago needing minor medical attention. Honestly up to the 100 bridge - the speed needs reduced to 25. 35 is just to fast for those racing to west pottsgrove through our Boro. Maybe that's the issue....but official crosswalks would at least help remind motorists that people are around.
