Cars turn onto the walk street all the time because they think the cut makes it a street.
A child almost got run over just last week.

Just go to the end of the block at a street corner which is the only legal spot to cross the street. Since there is no cross walk there, everyone crossing the street there is breaking the law! If someone ever got hit there it would be the pedestrian's fault for crossing where there is no cross walk!

all walk streets are cross walks by law.

I'd sure as hell sue the city if Okie or I got slammed by a car whizzing down 25th Avenue.

This issue has not been addressed yet by the City of Los Angeles and the Dept. of Transportation. This is a huge safety issue and liability for the city as cars are constantly not obeying the pedestrian right of way at an unmarked crosswalk. Please continue to vote for the installation and painting of the crosswalk for the general public safety.

especially since the beautiful new park created more foot traffic from the beach to the canals- it is more than a necessity. Please!

I think we got the crosswalk at one of the bridges, but not both.....
