We use to have that problem on King Place. It would be helpful to get the company name on truck and the can and trailer license plate numbers. Call New Haven Traffic and Parking at 203-946-8076 and report it. If there is a company on the truck, I would call them also and report that their vehicle is illegally parked and will be ticketed and towed.

City of New Haven Ordinance Sec. 29-53. - Parking trucks in residential zones. -
No person having the custody and control of a vehicle or vehicles with capacities of more than half-a-ton, shall be permitted to park on any street in any residential zone at any time of the day or night. However, such vehicles shall be permitted in residential zones when in the conduct of a service being simultaneously performed. Any operator or person operating such vehicle or vehicles in violation of the above provisions shall be subject to a penalty as set forth in section 29-30(a), herein.

Please do some weeks ago I had submitted the information. It's not safe.

In order to assist you further on this issue I need to know what time of day does this vehicle park there as several patrols of the area during the day time has come up empty.

This specific truck is usually parked overnight between 8pm-5am. I will try to get a specific schedule in the coming days. It was there lastnight.

This truck is Parker here because I got home at 4 o'clock and it's already Park where on lines Street it very dangerous because this is a very narrow street and anybody could hide I had a home invasion not long ago we couldn't see where the person went

We issued citations to both the cab and trailer of the vehicle, opened a dialogue with the driver, and due to my lack of satisfaction regarding said dialogue I have opened one with the company who owns the truck who were not pleased to receive my call. We have been told the vehicle will be gone this evening and as a result I'm going to close this issue. However, in the event that these steps do not stop the driver from continuing to park in the neighborhood please re-open the issue and contact us directly at (203)946-8076 when the vehicle is present so we can continue to ticket while pursuing additional steps to address this problem.
