Description
Tuesday, August 14th I parked on the second half of the 1600 block of Floyd avenue facing westbound while i was working around the corner. When I returned to get my car at the end of the day I was surprised to find a parking ticket for exceeding the one hour time limit. There is a sign on the first half indicating that there is a 1 hour time limit with an arrow pointing from the alley to lombardy. There are not any other signs on the west bound side of the block. I have been parking here for months with no ticket and i did notice that others have been getting tickets all of a sudden. There is no sign, therefore no limit. Also only some cars are getting tickets. My coworker arrived and parked right behind me at the same time that morning and no ticket was issued on her vehicle, not even a time chalk. I don't know if there is a new worker or what but if they are going to ticket there needs to be a sign. Period.
