Unfortunately our ability to provide swift service is dependent upon the complainant's ability to provide an address or directional intersection corners (SE, SW, NE, NW) for the complaint. Since "481-489 Hamline Ave N" isn't specific, the complaint was forwarded to a code inspector.
The code inspector will put it into their schedule to drive the area and attempt to locate addresses for the complaint. Once the inspector has that information, they will return to the office and input the complaint and address into the system. The computer then generates a letter which is sent to the property owner and occupant alerting them of the issue.
Forty-eight to seventy-two hours later, the inspector returns to the property to see if the issue has been corrected. If it has not been corrected, the inspector issues orders for another City department to take care of the issue, wherein the property owner is charged a fee. Please understand the process will take time if the inspector has to first go out to obtain the addresses.
On mobile app it is hard to tell what address it is selecting. The property in question is the BP gas station on corner of Hamline and University. 1347 University Ave W, St Paul, MN 55104
They routinely fail to shovel and the ramp to the crosswalk has been blocked all winter

You aren't being very helpful. I have put the correct address in twice now. Also, if an address range isn't acceptable, why does the mobile app default to an address range when you put a pin on the map?
I apologize for the duplicate message. The letter has been mailed to the property owner and will be follow-up by code enforcement.
The City has asked for the mobile app to provide correct addresses, but at this time, it merely "pings" from the closets cell tower.
