Description

The top cover of the storm drain has been totally moved from its original position as Urbana and Holdridge. This seems due to machine shoveling. When the snow melts it will be a safety hazard for small children and if totally broken a direct hole into our storm water drain system a man could easily fit into. Can not see anything but the total shift of the concrete due to snow.

County came in and removed the cones and placed barricades over the broken drain and nothing else has been done. Some skateboarders are using it as a training tool. It's been a month and I'd get someone out there soon to replace it.

The issue has been fixed. There are 22 like damages in the Greater Glenmont area from the snow storms of 2010. The crews are working as fast as they can it takes about 3 days to fix a storm drain so be patient.
