In last week's rainstorm, several cars in the parking lot got stuck in water about a foot deep. The rain was unusually heavy, but onlookers said, "oh, that always happens, but don't worry; it drains quickly when the rain stops." Well, our car suffered expensive damage. The town needs to inspect and clear the drains regularly and perhaps change the slope/grade/materials of the lot for better drainage.
