The rat problem seemed to get better for a while in Edgewood, but is back with a vengeance now. There are several large-scale construction projects in the neighborhood (the redevelopment of the Marta station and building of nearby apartments and town homes) which I believe have forced the rats to relocate their burrows. Unfortunately, that means that they are now trying to make their homes in and around OUR homes. I do not know if the City is doing anything to battle the rat problem but it doesn't appear so.
