About 5 years ago, NYSDOT gave Kenwood Ave. residents an elaborate presentation at the town hall on how they were going to rebuild Kenwood Ave. (NY Rt. 140). Monies were in place. What ever happened??? The road was paved over many years ago, and the state paved over the gutters and now there is no place for the water to go. This is a serious safety problem when we get a downpour. This is a main artery through Delmar. Bethlehem should be ashamed of this heavily traveled road in its town. I have lived on Kenwood Ave for 43 years and Kenwood Ave has NEVER been this bad. The town takes great care of side streets, but this main artery is terrible.
