Description

Thu. behind 5004 garage but in the alley there were huge cardboard boxes on ground next to recycling bin overstuffed with flattened boxes. The 5002 Illinois Ave NW bin had been empty after the Wed. trash pickup & hadn't yet been pulled into its owner's yard. I moved the bin from the alley next to the fence for 5002 since its barely legible label indicated that ownership; I left the card board on ground w/intent to return & document that aspect of dumping but forgot. Today, from window 2 children from 5002 residence seen removing cardboard from bin & placing on ground prior to pulling empty bin into 5002 rear yard. A subsequent check found all the cardboard piled adjacent to 5004 fence & property. FYI, residents from 800 block of Farragut of have been seen placing items in 5000-5004 bins; individual at 811 Farragut was heard apologizing & explaining the address lackerd bin(s).
