Thank you. I will file a complaint. However, the number is not being answered by a person and as a new customer I did not have an account number. The customer service number places you on hold and I spent more than 2 hours on hold, never was connected to a person. The next day they did answer, however they put me on hold and then transferred me to an automated bill payment system. In the end, starting in July, I called Washington Gas about 10 times, tried to use their website twice (failed), their system was unable to process my ID verification 3 times, and they hung up on me once. I will receive gas service 12 days later than needed, as a result.

There is also an additional number for customer service, 800-752-7520 – but that is a recorded message that is used primarily for billing disputes. Hope this helps.
