Description

The traffic light at 15th St. and Tibbits Ave. often seems to have problems. The mechanism for changing the light is old and purely mechanical - you can hear it going "ka-clunk" if you're standing next to the control box. When it gets very cold, it appears to stick - the light can stay in one phase or another for very long periods of time (at least 2-3 minutes). It also seems to be on "blinker mode" (which I assume means something is broken) at least once every other week. I know downtown is getting all the love right now, but I really think this light needs to be replaced.
