Description

The RSD recently voted to sell property which is about 20 acres of beautiful, natural habitat for development. I urge the City of Renton to include this area commonly called "Tiffany Park Woods" into their Park, Recreation, and Natural Preservation program considerations. This is a great opportunity to preserve "brush wetlands" for future generations. The area is filled with trees ranging up to about 75 years old. It is home to many species of birds, insects, and native Western Washington plants. The area is bordered by pipeline easements which are currently widely used by runners, walkers, and dog walkers.
