Description
Between 36 and 45 South Mountain Road, on the east bound (toward Little Tor Road) side of the street, has NUMEROUS potholes that require cars to swerve in order to avoid damage. Over the years there have been numerous accidents on this stretch of road and we are concerned that the current road conditions create unsafe conditions. We have reported this prior and because the holes were not fixed, the conditions have worsened. It has become a critical situation.
Sincerely,
Nana and Bob Trostle

The holes in the road between 36 and 45 South Mountain Road remain as they have been for months. My having reported them has not changed the condition of the road. Cars still have to weave down the road to avoid them. Thus, this issue remains OPEN.
Sincerely,

P.S. THIS IS A NEW AND AN OLD COMMENT!

NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO FIX THE POTHOLES REPORTED MORE THAN 6 MONTHS AGO. IN FACT, THE POTHOLES ON THE RAMAPO PART OF SOUTH MOUNTAIN ROAD ARE GETTING WORSE AND THEY EXTEND TO THE CLARKSTOWN LINE.
I DON'T THINK THAT ANYONE IN THE TOWN HALL CARES A HOOT ABOUT THIS DISGRACEFUL STATE OF THE ROAD.
THIS ISSUE REMAINS OPEN
