Description
There is tall grass and grass overtaking the sidewalk on the North East sidewalk section along Tryon Road near Gormain Street. In some area, the sidewalk is unmaintained and grass is taking over the walkway. It looks like there is an abandoned property there that needs to maintain the property or the City should consider doing this.

Thanks for reporting. I have referred this to the City’s Housing and Environmental Inspections Division. When they have responded I will update this issue.

2 Public nuisance cases initiated 3800 Tryon Rd & 2712 Tryon Rd for the grass being over 8 inches in height & encroaching upon the sidewalk. Deadline date for both cases is 8/13/13. Our inspectors will continue to follow up until the issue is resolved.
