Description
Baylis Road between Ruland and Rt 110. Trees that line the road have huge low hanging limbs that are scared by hits by passing of unsuspecting trucks. (Perhaps even Newsday trucks) Trees are just inches from the curb and have grown long heavy limbs that are hanging over the roadway. More than one accident has happened on this stretch and the danger is such that a truck striking a limb could cause physical injury to a vehicle driver passenger, trailing vehicle, oncoming vehicles or pedestrians. Town has ben notified and has yet to take action. Road is very dark at night which ads to a dangerous situation. I'm aware of a truck that sustained $20,000 in damage last year... as the trees grow so does the danger.
