Who but the city PWD would have sandbags at this location. It is also there job to keep the storm drain clean. Maybe the PWD is hoping a volunteer crew from Keep Oakland Beautiful will show and do there job for them.

David, Oakland has contracted out management of city-owned parking lots and garages to a company called Oakland Parking Partners. It's now their responsibility to maintain those properties.

Do they do anything??? Does the PWD refer these issue to them. PWD needs to post there contact information so we can make sure Oakland Parking Partners knows there is a problem. The only people I see picking up trash are all volunteers.

Public Works refers complaints to Oakland Parking Partners and my experience is that they do respond. The problem is that such complaints wouldn't be necessary if they were sufficiently proactive.
