Description
Crossing 9w near Marshalls and Barnes and Noble without a crosswalk is dangerous. It is clear that most people don't give a second thought to this pedestrian unfriendly area. The town of Ulster has asked the state to help but they have not fixed the problem. If one crosses route 9w at the only feasible place (traffic light at Marshalls/Barnes and Noble) it leads into parking lots on both sides leaving a pedestrian in the roadway. A simple crosswalk with pedestrian operatated signal would solve the problem.
