Description
Heading eastbound on Lafayette this little spot of patchwork is very very rough for cyclists. If you didn't know it was there easily cause a crash.

This is incredibly dangerous for cyclists. The patchwork here makes it very rough and dangerous essentially unusable. If you are cycling this stretch for the first time it comes as a stark surprise and could easily throw you from the bike. This is complicated by the fact that it's in the dark at night, the streetlight crew has not gone through here yet. Now that I know that this is an issue I take the lane when riding through this patch, other cyclists might not feel confident taking the lane.
Ideally would love to see a hot patch in the pavement here.
Thanks
Rich
