Description
Today, getting onto 24 headed eastbound after Keith Ave and Broadway, I hit a pothole and both driver side tires blew out on my car at the same time.
It is insane that a pothole so dangerous is allowed to exist at such a busy location. I'll be looking into getting a reimbursement for the repair from the City of Oakland as it's the responsible party here that allowed such deterioration to get out of control.

Today, I went back to the scene and snapped some photos of the pothole that caused this accident. I confirmed it's on the 6000+ block of Broadway, right before the onramp onto 24, which would fall under the City of Oakland's jurisdiction, not CalWorks/CalTrans.
It doesn't look as deep as it is in reality in the pics as it's hard to convey depth in 2D, but imagine it's twice as nasty as it looks.
The matter has been handed off to Travelers insurance, and they're already going after the city for reimbursement. I hope this pothole and the ones near it are going to get filled fast.
