Description
At the intersection of Mt. Vernon and Dunwoody Club, there is a left turn lane and traffic light arrow to turn left and continue on Mt. Vernon towards Spalding. In the evening, this left turn arrow light will stay red for up to 3 complete cycles of all the other green lights at the intersection. The cars behind the lead car honk for the lead car to run the light, thinking it's broken. Then the honking cars will go around the left side of the lead car and into the oncoming traffic lane to make the left turn, running the light. After they are a little ways down Mt. Vernon, that's when the green arrow come on for the left turn. This is dangerous and should be changed to allow a left turn green arrow with every cycle of the intersection traffic lights.
Thank you

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I've checked the signal, and for now I was unable to find any problems- every vehicle was being detected. As a precaution, I've put it in a failsafe mode so that the left turn will come up every cycle until a more thorough check can be completed.
