Description

I'm just curious about what, if anything, is being done to curb urban noise in New Haven? (I live in the area and am not able to sleep through the night or relax during the day due to noise on my street.) Many recent studies have shown that sirens, excessive honking, etc has many adverse effects on heath including increased risk for coronary heart disease, hypertension, and hearing loss. Considering what a serious public health issue noise is, I would love to see lovely New Haven start to work on it! Thank you!
