After any heavy rain the drain on the SW corner of 31st and Stonewall is severely clogged.
I have called the city to fix this problem. The result was two men, two trucks and removal of sand and rocks from around the opening of the drain. No real resolution. I am hoping that this time some real cleaning will be done inside the drain. In the middle of the night when it was raining furiously, water was so backed up that it was draining into the opening across the street on the Stonewall side of one of the two clogged drains.

This problem is fixed. The city workers came out and gave this drain a good internal cleaning from both 31st Street and Stonewall Ave. openings and after the couple of torrential rains we've have lately, the drain did exactly that: drained and with no standing water.
Thank you City of Richmond, well done!!
