Description

The pedestrian crossing signal on College Street that broders Chapel Street outside of TD Bank North freezes when the temperature falls below freezing. Frozen, it is inoperable. This is the third time this issue has been reported. It is exceedingly dangerous and today there was almost a serious pedestrian accident and rear end collision because of it. The signal works fine on temperate days, but given t hat CT does see temperatures below freezing, the city should be aware of this.
