Any update on this? The white window grates are still there.

I don't think this part of Spring St is historic, it actually stops in the middle of the street (hence the reason why there is a big mural on 77 Spring, on the same side).

All of Spring St is now in a historic district. It passed in the Common Council earlier this fall. These were added after that.
