Description
I'm sure others have reported this as well, but the bridge section to west river drive (Martin Luther King) is increasingly a dangerous section. The sidewalk is completely falling apart, with bigger & bigger holes appearing in the sidewalk. During the week, bikes and pedestrians going in both directions all have to share the narrow sidewalk, as they can't be on the road during rush hour.

this this needs to be fixed. it is extremely dangerous as bikes are going both directions, sometimes against motor vehicle traffic and the cyclists do not know where to go - sidewalk or road for a given direction. the sidewalk needs to be fixed, but also, this should be a 2 way bike lane that is barricaded from motorists.

I agree with dt that it should be a bike lane, as the bridge is very highly traveled by runners, bikers, bladers, walkers, and more, and it's unclear where to go, and traffic moves along quickly. When I rode by this yesterday, the entire sidewalk was under construction, so I'm hoping this means the issue is being addressed.

The sidewalk has now been fixed. All of the holes were repaired. Of course, it's still a dangerous bridge, with a narrow sidewalk for bike and pedestrian traffic going in both directions, but it is MUCH improved with all of the holes fixed. Thank you!
