EVERY WEEKEND, USUALLY STARTING ON THURSDAY NIGHT, THERE IS A GROUP OF VERY LOUD PEOPLE ON NOISY MOTORCYLES RACING AROUND THE WALGREENS PARKING LOT AND UP AND DOWN WHALLEY AND ELLA GRASSO AT 1,2,3 AM. VERY LOUD AND DISRUPTIVE. THEY RACE, SCREAM AT EACH OTHER, AND REV THEIR ENGINES.
CAN WE GET A POLICE OFFICER OUT HERE IN THE PARKING LOT DURING THESE HOURS?

It is ridiculous that the NHPD/Whalley substation has not done something about this by now, as other reports have been posted previously about the drug use and prostitution at this location. If you can safely get photographs of the activity, I suggest you do so, and make a formal complaint down at the main police station. Keep a log of dates, times and descriptions of the offenders and present that as well. This is inexcusable, dangerous behavior. Do you have an alderman that actually cares about your neighborhood enough to join in the fight? (We sure don't.)

Same type of situation at New Havens Westville Manor Loud Music all hours of the night, illegal fireworks being blown off since May dirt bikes sometimes ride up & down near West Rock State Park during daytime hours & up & down Springside Ave(which at nightime 90% of the street lights are out, , these types of areas need to be well lit up at night along with a strong Police presents which would help.

I only see my alderman when it is time to vote. They don't do a thing.

They need to stop selling dirt bikes at the local Pawn Shops and at Pep Boys.There is a noise ordinance that needs to be updated and enforced especially for car stereos people talk about cell phones and texting car stereos are also a distraction.Besides the racing of dirtbikes these guys use them as drug runs.
