the same thing happened in Westville except they swept the streets the day BEFORE the online posted sweeping date, so no one even knew they'd be sweeping.
Just another example of the half-stepping we get from the city departments for our hard earned tax money.
The additional special street sweeping program that began on November 2 and will run until December 10 weather permitting is NOT a Tag- Tow schedule. We are relying on residents cooperation to move their cars out of the street sweeper's path when it is in your neighborhood. The front page of the city website announces the special schedule under News You Can Use and if you follow this link to street sweeping page you'll find the schedule link at the top of the map:

Thanks DPW, but the schedule didnt help in Westville when they swept on Election Day and were supposed to sweep wednesday and thursday. The residents rely on YOU sticking with the schedule

Ah, sorry, I didn't go to the city website to see that it was voluntary. I just saw the posted sign that says "Tow Zone" and "Cars Will Be Towed."
