Labor Day, 2017. Another holiday which occurred on a Monday and the residents of 200 W. Evergreen Ave., Chestnut Hill place their trash on the sidewalk on Thursday to be picked up on Friday which is the normal trash pick up day. It remains on the sidewalk Thursday, September 7 and 8 and us not picked up until September 9, a Saturday because these people already forgotten that Monday was Labor Day and that trash pickup is delayed a day. The owner of the property should inform the residents of these apartments of the city's policy regarding trash pick up for holidays. This trash on the sidewalk is an eyesore and a sanitation hazard.
